Sansedoni was founded in 1999 as a property and investment company from the spin-off of Istituto Bancario Monte dei Paschi di Siena.

Sansedoni has also been a management company and Real Estate full service provider since 2008, with expertise in the development and management of property and third-party portfolios and skills that cover the entire real estate supply chain.

Due to our flexibility in dealing with the needs of an ever-changing real estate market, Sansedoni further expanded its business in 2010 with new service lines focused on Restructuring Advisory – consultancy services for real estate companies in crisis which are developing a turnaround plan – to its traditional Asset, Property Management and Agency services. Starting from September 2021, with the intervention of the Arrow Global Group, together with the Italian companies Europa Investimenti and Sagitta SGR, a new season has started for Sansedoni.

Today the company is overall owned by the Europa Investimenti Group through its subsidiary Lanzone Ventidue S.r.l., with the exception of some shares corresponding to 1%.

As part of the operation, Sagitta SGR launched “SGT Sansedoni“, a closed-end real estate fund reserved for professional investors, owner of part of the former Sansedoni properties.

The fund raised subscriptions from the company’s former creditors banks, who converted their loans into fund shares, as well as raised new capital for a total of € 13 million, from the MPS Foundation (3 million) and Arrow Global (10 million) to be allocated mainly to the creation of capex that will allow a better enhancement of the properties.
